Job summary

Sundus is seeking a Sr Engineer Electro Mechanical Maintenance to lead maintenance activities in Dubai, UAE. The role requires extensive experience in MEP maintenance, particularly with firefighting and fire alarm systems, and a strong ability to interpret technical drawings.

The candidate should have a Bachelor’s or Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Mechatronics, 7+ to 8+ years of experience, and English fluency. Direct hire for a full-time position based in Dubai.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Diploma with the required years of MEP maintenance experience.
• Experience in maintenance of firefighting and fire alarm systems (FPS) including preventive and corrective tasks.
• Knowledge of FPS with material selection, testing, installation, commissioning and fault diagnosis.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Proficiency in MS Office; SAP knowledge preferred.
• Experience with UAE regulatory codes and safety standards.
• Fluency in English is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Manage, schedule, and oversee maintenance of firefighting and fire alarm systems (RCM) including corrective and preventive maintenance of FPS.
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of FPS, with hands-on experience in selection, testing, installation, commissioning and fault diagnosis.
• Able to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Ensure compliance with UAE regulatory codes and safety standards.
