Thehseleader seeks a dedicated Site Safety Lead to oversee inspections and risk management on critical substations. You will conduct detailed Job Safety Analysis (JSA) for transformer installation, cable pulling, and switchyard gantry erection, and manage and audit the Permit-to-Work system to ensure proper authorization before activities.

Risk Assessments: Conduct detailed Job Safety Analysis (JSA) for tasks like transformer installation, cable pulling, and switchyard gantry erection.
Permit-to-Work (PTW): Manage and audit the PTW system, ensuring all personnel have proper authorization before entering energized zones.
LOTO (Lockout/Tagout): Strictly enforce LOTO procedures to ensure equipment is de-energized and safe for maintenance or installation.
Electrical Safety: Ensure all tools and PPE (Arc-rated clothing, insulated gloves) meet voltage requirements and are properly tested.
Grounding/Earthing: Verify that temporary grounding is correctly applied during construction to prevent accidental energization.
Excavation Safety: Substation projects involve heavy trenching for grounding grids; you will oversee shoring and underground utility detection.
Inductions: Conduct site-specific safety orientations for all contractors and visitors.
Toolbox Talks: Lead daily briefings focusing on high-risk activities scheduled for the day.
Incident Investigation: Lead "Root Cause Analysis" (RCA) for any near-misses or accidents and implement corrective actions.
