Job summary

S K OVERSEAS HR CONSULTANCY in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Lead Civil/Structural Engineer to drive the design and analysis of complex oil & gas projects. You will develop and review drawings, specifications and calculations for civil and structural elements and guide construction teams on site.

The role requires a civil/structural engineering degree, 15+ years of Gulf oil & gas experience, and a PE license or equivalent. Experience in EPC/flowline/brownfield projects is highly valued.

Job description

Lead the structural design and analysis of complex projects ensuring compliance with all relevant codes and standards. Develop and review detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and calculations for civil and structural elements. Oversee the construction phase providing technical guidance and problem‑solving expertise to site teams. Perform site investigations and condition assessments to inform design decisions and maintenance strategies.

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited institution. Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent professional certification is highly desirable. Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in civil and structural engineering design and project management. Proven experience in the oil & gas, petrochemical, or industrial sectors, with a strong understanding of their unique demands.

Eligibility Criteria

• Experience in Pipeline / Oil & Gas / EPC / Flowline / Wellhead / Brownfield / Upstream / Onshore
• Gulf / ADNOC experience preferred
• Clean-shaven policy applicable
• Candidates with Metro / Building / Road Infrastructure experience are not eligible

Age Criteria

Maximum age limit is 49 years.

For managerial positions, this may be extended up to 50 years if the candidate has significant Gulf experience.

Managerial and SR. Positions: A minimum of 5 years of Gulf experience in the relevant field is mandatory.
