We are now looking for Senior Designer - Electrical to be a part of Rejlers Team in Offshore/Onshore Oil & Gas Projects in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

Responsibilities And Duties

1. Organize and prioritize multi-disciplinary design drafting work to meet the target dates.
2. Responsible to prepare Electrical / Instrumentation / Telecom engineering documents and drawings as required for project and assigned by Discipline Manager.
3. Assist engineers / designers / design manager / Discipline Manager for the engineering design of the project.
4. Ensure verification of source data, concept drawings / concepts as required.
5. Prepare and finalize the engineering document deliverable in coordination with all relevant department / discipline, submission date as per Client / Contract requirements.
6. Preparation of all related design deliverables through MS-office, AUTOCAD.
7. Review of design document, drawings, etc. issued by various discipline, design subcontractor and ensure Client requirements.
8. Support designer for Review meetings (Plot plan review, Constructability study)
9. Preparation of Material Take Off
10. Produce a complete set of shop/ fabrication drawings with high accuracy, based on the pre-engineering site survey.
11. Overall responsible for inter discipline coordination, submission of necessary design documents/ deliverables and procedures to the Client.
12. Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, Energy and Environmental objectives.

Preferred Skills & Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with 12-15 years minimum Oil & Gas experience.
2. Senior Designer shall require 10 years design drafting experience in oil and gas industry or related process industries and 5 years supervisory experience.
3. Experience in Offshore Oil & Gas project. Additional Onshore projects experience is preferable.
4. Experience in FEED & Detailed Engineering for EPC projects.
5. In-depth knowledge of the operation of a modern CAD based multi-discipline drawing office.
6. Excellent experience in design modules of SmartPlant and Aveva suite of application - SMARTPLANT 3D/PDMS, SPI/AVEVA INST., SPEL/AVEVA ELECT.
7. Excellent AutoCAD skills, Word Processing and Spreadsheet capability. A good understanding of AutoCAD enhancement programs. Good experience in site verification, As-Building activities (I.e. Walkthrough, Interpreting data from 3D laser Scanning etc.) and use of Smartplant review or Navisworks and MicroStation.
8. Good general knowledge of the Standard and Codes applicable to drawings prepared for the Oil industry.
9. Strong leadership skills, with written, verbal and analytical skills.
10. Good command of English language.
11. Knowledge of Dialux, SmartSketch, PDS is added value.
12. UAE local experience is added value.
13. Fluent in the English language verbally and writing.

16. Meets UAE visa requirements.
