Job description

We’re Hiring – Senior Devops Engineer

Location: Onsite | Sharjah, UAE

Duration: 12 months (extendable)

Budget: Upto 18000-19000 AED/month

Notice Period: Immediate joiners or max 30 days preferred

Duties and Responsibilities

1.

Design and implement DevOps processes to improve the delivery of software releases and support for Oracle Middleware and ELK stack infrastructure.

2.

Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and other tools.

3.

Manage and automate infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform.

4.

Apply GitOps principles for deployment automation and environment consistency.

5.

Ensure DevSecOps best practices by integrating security into the development pipeline (SAST, DAST, secrets scanning, etc.).

6.

Provision and manage containerized workloads using Red Hat OpenShift or similar platforms.

7.

Collaborate with development, data science, and QA teams to support MLOps workflows, including model packaging, deployment, and monitoring.

8.

Monitor systems, automate health checks, and implement proactive alerting and remediation strategies.

9.

Optimize cost, performance, and scalability of cloud infrastructure.

10.

Maintain documentation, diagrams, and operational playbooks for all DevOps tools and processes.

4 Candidate Requirements

1.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.

2.

7- 8 years of experience in a Senior DevOps Engineer or related role.

3.

Oracle Middleware and ELK stack technologies background is a plus.

4.

Proficiency with GitHub, GitHub Actions, and Git-based workflows.

5.

Practical understanding and implementation of GitOps workflows

6.

Experience working with OpenShift, Kubernetes, or other container orchestration platforms.

7.

Solid understanding of DevSecOps practices and integrating security into CI/CD pipelines.

8.

Scripting and automation skills (e.g., Bash, Python, or similar).
