Spray Painter

Responsibilities:

1. Preparing surfaces to be painted by cleaning, sanding, and masking areas not to be painted.
2. Applying paint or coating to aircraft parts and structures using various techniques such as spraying, brushing, and rolling.
3. Mixing paints and primers to the correct color, ratio, and consistency.
4. Inspecting painted surfaces to ensure smoothness and quality of finish.
5. Ensuring that all work meets safety and quality standards and complies with company procedures.
6. Operating and maintaining spray painting equipment, including spray guns, compressors, and ventilation systems to ensure safe and efficient operation.
7. Able to read, understand, and interpret customer-related painting specifications.
8. Keeping work areas clean and organized, and maintaining equipment in good condition.

Desired Candidate Profile:

1. Prior experience as an aircraft parts / automotive parts painter, or in a similar role.
2. Good knowledge of paint mixing and application techniques.
3. Ability to work with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
4. Understanding of safety practices and regulations.
5. Good physical dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
