Job summary

Podnews is seeking a part-time sponsorships specialist for the English channel Solomin Podcast. You will own sponsorship revenue by finding brands, pitching integrations, closing deals, and renewals. This fully remote role is open to US-based candidates only, with a monthly retainer plus commissions.

Flexible hours and a project-based contract allow you to build a pipeline with US brands and agencies, negotiate rates, and coordinate with our production team to deliver results.

Qualifications

• 2+ years selling podcast/YouTube sponsorships.
• Existing relationships with US brands or media agencies.
• Proven track record of closed deals.
• Based in the US and comfortable working remotely with a small international team.
• Russian language is a plus, not a requirement.

Pay: $500/month fixed retainer + 10% commission on first deals, 5% on repeat deals.

Solomin Podcast is the new English-language channel of Gleb Solomin, host of a popular Russian-language interview podcast. We publish long-form conversations with founders, scientists and thinkers.

Current numbers: 25K+ subscribers, 600K+ views per episode, 40%+ tier-1 audience (US, Canada, UK).

The role

This is a part-time, project-based contract role. You will own sponsorship revenue for the English channel: find brands, pitch integrations, close deals and keep sponsors coming back. Flexible hours, fully remote. This role is open to US-based candidates only.

What we're looking for

• 2+ years selling podcast, YouTube or creator sponsorships (podcast network, creator agency, MCN or in-house)
• Existing relationships with US brands or media agencies
• A track record of closed deals you can walk us through
• Based in the US, self-driven, comfortable working remotely with a small international team
• Russian is a plus, not a requirement

Compensation

• $500/month fixed retainer
• 10% commission on the first deal with every new sponsor you bring in
• 5% commission on repeat deals and renewals with the same sponsor

Part-time independent contractor agreement, paid monthly. Strong performers can move to a full-time role.
