Job summary

SearchPlus HR presents a Consultant Spine Surgeon role for a government hospital in the UAE. The candidate will provide comprehensive surgical care for complex spinal disorders, including degenerative, traumatic, and congenital conditions.

Collaboration with neurosurgeons, orthopedic specialists, and radiologists will be essential. The ideal candidate holds a Western postgraduate qualification, is licensed, and has consultant-level spine surgery experience.

Qualifications

• Medical degree with a recognized postgraduate qualification in Orthopedic Surgery, Neurosurgery, or Spine Surgery.
• Recognized Western qualification (UK/US/Canada/Australia/NZ/Ireland or equivalent).
• Consultant-level experience in Spine Surgery.
• Experience with complex spinal procedures and trauma management.
• Fellowship training in Spine Surgery is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and manage patients with complex spinal and musculoskeletal conditions.
• Perform elective and emergency spinal surgical procedures.
• Manage degenerative spinal disorders, spinal stenosis, disc disease, deformities, and spinal trauma.
• Perform advanced cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine procedures.
• Work with multidisciplinary teams and maintain high patient safety standards.
• Develop individualized surgical and non-surgical treatment plans.
