The main purpose of this role is to perform speech and language assessments and evaluations and design/implement structured and individualized treatment speech programs to teach children with various speech disorders or delays.

About the Role:

The main purpose of this role is to perform speech and language assessments and evaluations and design/implement structured and individualized treatment speech programs to teach children with various speech disorders or delays.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide screening, consultation, comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, intervention, and treatment of speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.
• Develop and implement highly specialized speech and language therapy treatment programs to facilitate the recovery of speech, language, and swallowing function.
• Provide ongoing guidance within each client’s individual program to family/caregivers and other professionals, ensuring each client’s continued progress towards realizing their maximum potential.
• Communicate questions, child’s progress, or other feedback to parents, teachers, and Multi-disciplinary team members.
• Prepare reports and maintain documentation pertaining to each child’s program.
• Participate in clinic/team meetings, workshops, and training seminars as necessary.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Speech / Linguistics.
• Valid DHA License.
• Minimum 2 years of work experience as a Speech & Language Therapist.
