Company description
In recent years, Mastercard has developed products in the cross-border payments space, called "Mastercard Cross Border Solutions." We have established partnerships with entities active in cross-border payments and aim to scale these partnerships further.

The candidate will be part of the "Mastercard Cross Border Solutions" sales team, demonstrating initiative and ownership as an individual contributor, raising the bar, and challenging boundaries to generate new payment flows using Mastercard Cross Border Solutions.

Key accountabilities
The candidate will ensure the implementation of Mastercard Cross Border Solutions product strategy aligns with market objectives and facilitates successful product launches.
Key responsibilities include:

  • Achieving volume and scale objectives in the UAE by aligning the product with go-to-market strategies
  • Partnering with global and regional product teams to understand capabilities, address market needs, and coordinate ongoing operations
  • Leading client engagements to communicate strategy, innovations, and business-building strategies
  • Collaborating with Marketing, Communications, and other teams to support product launches and maximize visibility and utilization
  • Overseeing end-to-end implementation with new customers, including due diligence, negotiations, financial setup, and rollout
  • Managing complex data analyses to build strategic intelligence for Mastercard and clients
  • Supporting internal relationships to help the team achieve goals and differentiate the product from competitors

Qualifications and Experience
• Bachelor's degree
• Relevant experience in cross-border remittances with money transfer operators, FinTechs, Telcos, etc.
• Understanding of bilateral/correspondent banking for B2B and P2P payments
• Experience with mobile money or card payments is a plus
• Experience in managing sales and business development from inception to scale is desirable
• UAE-based candidates with relevant market experience are preferred

• Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus
