What you'll be doing

This Role will serve as the central point of expertise and coordination for the Group’s ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) activities. This individual will drive advocacy efforts, ensure robust ESG communications internally and externally, manage issuance of the Group Yearly Sustainability Report, manage ESG certification and assessments and build strategic partnerships to strengthen the company’s ESG positioning.

  • Act as the single point of contact (SPOC) for ESG topics for all communications teams.
  • Prepare, curate, and share ESG content across multiple channels (internal and external) in collaboration with the Business Integration Manager and Learning and development team
  • Assess, select, and prepare ESG-focused speaking opportunities for the Chief Sustainability Officer (CSO) and senior leaders.
  • Supervise the development, assurance, and issuance of the annual Sustainability Report, ensuring compliance with major reporting standards (e.g., GRI, SASB, TCFD, CSRD).
  • Collaborate with Learning & Development to identify ESG training needs and design appropriate programs.
  • Manage external ESG certifications, ratings, and assessments (e.g., EcoVadis, Dubai ESG Label, etc.)
  • Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with NGOs, industry associations, and sustainability-focused organizations.
  • Author and distribute an internal ESG newsletter with curated external and internal updates.
  • Monitor global ESG trends, regulations, and best practices to continuously inform strategy.

What you’ll need to succeed

  • 7–10 years of experience in ESG, Corporate Responsibility, Communications, or related field.
  • Proven track record of managing sustainability reporting processes aligned with major standards (GRI, CDP, SASB, CSRD, etc.).
  • Experience engaging with rating agencies, assurance providers, and external ESG partners.
  • Strong background in executive communications, thought leadership preparation, and event support.
  • Familiarity with ESG certifications and external assessments.
  • Experience in change management or culture development around ESG topics is a strong plus.

Education:

  • Master’s degree preferred in one of the following fields:
  • Sustainability / Environmental Management
  • Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)
  • Communications or Public Relations (with strong ESG knowledge)
  • Business Administration with ESG/Sustainability specialization
  • International Relations or Public Policy (with ESG focus)

Key Skills:

  • Deep understanding of ESG frameworks and disclosure regulations.
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills (written and verbal).
  • Strong project management capabilities.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Analytical mindset to interpret ESG data and trends.
  • High degree of autonomy, initiative, and strategic thinking.
