We are looking for a Senior Market Development Specialist for our MEA region based in Dubai. You will play an important role in enhancing awareness and generating sales through sales-based analysis and gathered market insights.

Responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, and prioritize market leads and opportunities, through meetings, networking, and other channels, to reach potential new customers to create and drive additional demand.
• Develop and provide product presentations and demonstrations for end users, consultants, rental companies, and integrators - to increase awareness and understanding of the benefits of Shure’s product categories and implement strategic plans for each subvertical.
• Schedule, coordinate, and conduct training sessions to educate customers on product benefits, as well as monitor and report on effectiveness of education/training efforts within the MEA market.
• Work with Marketing on technical and logistical support for conferences, seminars, and other special events.
• Prepare regular reports and forecasts to internal and external stakeholders using key account metrics.
• Identify market trends and design solutions that meet customer needs.
• Establish and maintain effective methods of communication between the teams involved in design work throughout the project.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and minimum 5 years of work experience.
• Professional with a comprehensive commercial and technical knowledge of Audio and/or IT. The successful candidates should have multinational experience.
• Thorough understanding of industry practices, workflow, and terminology. Background or experience within Audio Visual Integration, Video Conferencing, live sound, and related fields is preferred.
• CTS-D certified preferred.
• Proven experience in handling projects and events in MEA markets with focus on Saudi Arabia.
• Experience in designing complete AV solutions for complex projects.
• Experience of drafting programs and competence with Audio DSP Platforms required.
• Multinational background and experience in dealing with consultants, systems integrators, and end users.
• Demonstrate good judgment in selecting methods and techniques to create solutions for difficult assignments of diverse scope.
• Able to handle multiple assignments and to work on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data or situations requires evaluation of identifiable factors and adapt as needed.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills as well as proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
• Detail oriented, well-organized, and good time management skills.
• High level of English required. Arabic knowledge would be a benefit.
