- Maintain knowledge of relevant regulatory frameworks and legislation.
- Define project scope effectively.
- Oversee Piping Engineering work by EPC contractors for major projects.
- Promote effective communication within EPC teams to produce safe, cost-effective, and constructible designs.
- Provide technical leadership and decision-making support.
- Participate in safety and design reviews.
- Assist during construction and installation activities.
- Report progress and issues to senior management.
- Troubleshoot piping design issues and resolve technical queries.
- Attend progress meetings and generate status reports.
- Manage change processes, including review of proposals.
- Support construction personnel with technical queries.
- Collaborate to eliminate hazards and ensure safety.
- Resolve technical problems and coordinate solutions.
- Ensure work completion without compromising quality and schedule.
- Maintain knowledge of piping discipline fundamentals and standards.
- Stay updated on local and international standards and regulations.
Qualifications
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent; 15+ years of relevant offshore/onshore Oil & Gas experience, including 5+ years in GCC region.
- Minimum 5 years in a similar senior position managing teams in mega Oil & Gas or Petrochemical projects.
- Offshore experience is mandatory; ADNOC experience preferred.
- FEED experience is essential.
- Proficiency in engineering software and business tools.
- Experience working in multi-project, multi-discipline environments across all engineering phases.
- Previous Middle East experience is advantageous.
