Job summary

Client of Dr Expat is seeking a Specialist Orthopedic Foot & Ankle Surgeon to diagnose, treat, and manage a wide range of foot and ankle disorders using surgical and non-surgical approaches in Dubai.

You will work with multidisciplinary teams, interpret imaging, and develop personalized treatment plans to achieve optimal patient outcomes in a tax-free, high-quality healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• Medical degree from a recognised institution.
• Completion of Orthopedic Surgery residency with a subspecialty in Foot & Ankle.
• Fellowship training or subspecialty certification in Foot and Ankle Surgery is mandatory.
• Board Certification or equivalent in Orthopedic Surgery.
• Valid DHA licence or eligibility to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage foot and ankle injuries and musculoskeletal disorders.
• Perform elective and trauma-related foot and ankle surgical procedures.
• Develop personalised treatment and rehabilitation plans.
• Assess fractures, deformities, arthritis, tendon injuries and sports-related conditions.
• Interpret X-rays, CT scans, MRI and other imaging.
• Provide outpatient consultations and post-operative follow-up.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary rehabilitation teams.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation per DHA regulations.
• Participate in quality improvement and continuing medical education.
• Stay updated with advances in orthopedic foot and ankle surgery.

Role Overview Specialist Orthopedic Foot amp Ankle Surgeon

As a Specialist Orthopedic Foot amp Ankle Surgeon you will diagnose treat and manage a wide range of foot and ankle disorders using both surgical and non-surgical treatment approaches You will work closely with physiotherapists radiologists sports medicine physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver comprehensive musculoskeletal care and achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage foot and ankle injuries and musculoskeletal disorders

Qualifications

• Completion of a recognised Orthopedic Surgery residency programme
• Fellowship training or subspecialty certification in Foot and Ankle Surgery (mandatory)
• Board Certification or equivalent qualification in Orthopedic Surgery
• Valid medical licence or eligibility for DHA licensureMinimum 3 5 years of post-specialisation experience in Foot and Ankle Orthopedic Surgery
• Arabic language skills are an advantage
• Strong clinical, surgical, and patient communication skills
