Job summary

Talentspoc is seeking an experienced Specialist Orthopaedic Surgeon in Dubai to provide comprehensive diagnosis, surgical treatment, and follow-up care for musculoskeletal conditions and injuries. You will manage trauma, joint disorders, sports injuries, and elective procedures, collaborating with radiologists and physiotherapists.

Responsibilities

Job description

Our leading healthcare facility is looking for an experienced Specialist Orthopaedic Surgeon to provide comprehensive diagnosis, surgical treatment, and follow-up care for patients with musculoskeletal conditions and injuries. The role includes trauma management, joint disorders, sports injuries, and elective orthopaedic procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive orthopaedic consultations, examinations, and treatment planning.


• Diagnose and manage fractures, joint disorders, sports injuries, ligament injuries, arthritis, and musculoskeletal conditions.


• Perform elective and emergency orthopaedic surgical procedures.


• Manage orthopaedic trauma, including fractures, dislocations, and post-traumatic complications.


• Perform arthroscopic procedures involving the knee, shoulder, and other joints where appropriately trained.


• Perform joint replacement procedures, including hip, knee, shoulder, and elbow replacements where within expertise.


• Manage degenerative joint diseases and ligament injuries.


• Review and interpret X-rays, CT scans, MRI, and other diagnostic investigations.


• Provide comprehensive pre-operative and post-operative care.


• Coordinate rehabilitation with physiotherapists and other healthcare professionals.


• Manage post-operative complications and provide appropriate follow-up.


• Collaborate with radiologists, physiotherapists, sports medicine physicians, and other specialists.


• Counsel patients regarding treatment options, surgical procedures, recovery, and rehabilitation.


• Maintain accurate clinical records and participate in quality improvement and continuing medical education.

Requirements

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree.


• MS / DNB / MRCS / FRCS / Arab Board or equivalent postgraduate qualification in Orthopaedic Surgery.


• Minimum 3 years of post-specialization clinical experience preferred.


• Strong experience in general orthopaedic surgery and trauma.


• Excellent clinical judgment, surgical skills, and patient-management abilities.


• Strong communication and multidisciplinary teamwork skills
