Job summary

Talentspoc LLC in Dubai is seeking an experienced Specialist Orthopaedic Surgeon to deliver comprehensive diagnosis, surgical treatment, and follow-up care for musculoskeletal conditions and injuries.

The role requires expertise in trauma management, hip, knee, shoulder procedures, and minimally invasive techniques, with a focus on patient-centered care and multidisciplinary collaboration with radiologists, physiotherapists, and sports medicine specialists.

Qualifications

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree.
• MS / DNB / MRCS / FRCS / Arab Board or equivalent recognized postgraduate qualification in Orthopaedic Surgery.
• Minimum 3 years of post-specialization clinical experience preferred.
• Strong experience in general orthopaedic surgery and trauma.
• Surgical logbook may be required as part of licensing eligibility for surgical specialties.
• Excellent clinical judgment, surgical skills, and patient-management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage orthopaedic and musculoskeletal conditions.
• Perform elective and emergency procedures within scope of expertise.
• Manage fractures, dislocations, joint injuries, degenerative conditions, and sports injuries.
• Perform procedures involving hip, knee, shoulder, ankle, foot, and other areas.
• Pre-operative assessments and individualized surgical planning.
• Post-operative care and monitoring for complications.
• Interpret X-rays, CT scans, MRI, and other diagnostics.
• Coordinate rehabilitation and follow-up with physiotherapists and other specialists.
• Collaborate with radiologists, sports medicine physicians, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Counsel patients and families regarding options, risks, and recovery.
• Maintain medical records and comply with UAE healthcare standards.

The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in orthopaedic surgery, trauma management, and modern surgical techniques.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage a wide range of orthopaedic and musculoskeletal conditions.
• Perform elective and emergency orthopaedic surgical procedures within the scope of expertise.
• Manage fractures, dislocations, joint injuries, degenerative conditions, and sports-related injuries.
• Perform procedures involving the hip, knee, shoulder, ankle, foot, and other musculoskeletal areas.
• Conduct pre-operative assessments and develop individualized surgical plans.
• Provide comprehensive post-operative care and monitor patients for complications.
• Interpret X-rays, CT scans, MRI, and other relevant diagnostic investigations.
• Manage orthopaedic trauma and acute musculoskeletal emergencies.
• Perform minimally invasive and arthroscopic procedures where appropriately trained.
• Coordinate rehabilitation and follow-up care with physiotherapists and other specialists.
• Collaborate with radiologists, physiatrists, sports medicine physicians, and other multidisciplinary teams.
• Counsel patients and families regarding treatment options, surgical risks, recovery, and rehabilitation.
• Maintain accurate medical records and comply with UAE healthcare standards.
• Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and continuing medical education.
