Astra ProMed in Abu Dhabi is seeking a qualified Specialist Orthopaedics to provide comprehensive orthopedic care, diagnose musculoskeletal conditions, and develop treatment plans within a leading healthcare facility.

The role requires a MBBS/MD with a recognized postgraduate qualification in Orthopaedics and DOH Abu Dhabi license or eligibility. Candidates should have excellent clinical and communication skills and be prepared to work in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.

Qualifications

• MBBS/MD or equivalent medical degree.
• Recognized postgraduate qualification in Orthopaedics.
• Relevant experience as a Specialist Orthopaedic physician.
• DOH Abu Dhabi license or eligibility.
• Valid professional registration and Good Standing Certificate.
• Excellent clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and manage patients with orthopedic conditions.
• Provide conservative and surgical treatment as appropriate.
• Perform orthopedic procedures within scope of practice.
• Review imaging, lab results, and clinical findings.
• Develop individualized treatment and rehabilitation plans.
• Monitor patient progress and follow up.
• Collaborate with physiotherapists, radiologists, nurses, and other specialists.
• Maintain medical records and documentation.
• Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
• Follow DOH regulations and hospital policies.
