Key Objectives for This Role

• Develop detailed designs for offshore structures, ensuring compliance with specifications and standards
• Perform complex analyses for structure safety under various conditions
• Select materials suitable for harsh marine environments
• Ensure all designs and constructions meet regulations, safety, and environmental standards
• Oversee project lifecycle from design to decommissioning
• Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies
• Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and stakeholders for project execution

Responsibilities

Key Accountabilities include working with a team of engineers on civil and structural calculations, providing guidance, preparing specifications, coordinating across functions, reviewing geotechnical reports, participating in project meetings, evaluating bids, site visits, and supporting pre-bid engineering efforts.

Qualifications

We seek candidates with a Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or equivalent, 15+ years of relevant offshore/onshore Oil & Gas experience (including 5+ in the GCC), preferably with a Master's in Structural Engineering, offshore experience, and proficiency with structural software (SACS, STAAD Pro, ANSYS, FEMAP, TEKLA, NAVIS). Familiarity with international codes (API, AISC, ISO, EN1993, BS, ABS, DNVGL) and ADNOC standards is required. Excellent English communication skills and Middle East experience are advantageous.
