Allocation Assist Middle East is seeking a Specialist Neonatologist who is an Arabic speaker for Abu Dhabi, UAE. The role focuses on delivering high-risk newborn care in a hospital setting, including premature infants, in collaboration with obstetricians and nurses.

The candidate must hold MBBS and a Specialist qualification in Neonatology or Pediatrics, with 3–5 years post-specialization experience, and be fluent in Arabic and English.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive medical care for newborns, including premature and critically ill neonates.
• Diagnose and manage neonatal conditions, congenital disorders, respiratory distress, infections and emergencies.
• Deliver NICU and newborn nursery specialist care.
• Perform neonatal resuscitation and stabilization for high-risk newborns.
• Coordinate care with obstetricians, pediatricians, nurses, and allied healthcare professionals.
• Counsel and educate parents about neonatal conditions, treatment plans, and follow-up.
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with hospital policies.
• Participate in audits, quality initiatives, and CME.

Key Responsibilities

Qualifications and Requirements

• MBBS or equivalent medical qualification.
• Specialist qualification in Neonatology or Pediatrics from a recognized institution.
• Valid DOH License, DOH Eligibility Letter, or eligibility to obtain the required licensing.
• Minimum 3-5 years of post-specialization experience in Neonatology.
• Experience working within a NICU and managing critically ill neonates.
• Fluency in Arabic and English is essential.
