Qualifications

Job description

  • Check preparation of customers orders (Commercial projects responsibility), handling of all correspondence with customers and Caracal employees dealing with inquiries, routing, licensing, pricing, specifications, product knowledge, and matters of a similar nature ;
  • Follow up the execution of all sales orders, making sure that all terms, pricing, and specifications relating to the orders are acceptable to the customers;
  • Develops a rapport with all accounts to assist them in the promotion and selling of Caracal products and monitors customer service activities to assure sales objectives are being met;
  • Acts as a liaison between customers, commercial projects, company personnel and agents in handling questions and problems dealing with deliveries, specifications, inspections, shipping and after sales activities.
  • Monitors competitive activities for new developments in the customer area in the market place;
  • Communicates on a timely basis with appropriate department managers on potential problem areas resulting from special order requirements concerning such items as backorders, stock shortages, late delivery penalties, product liability exposure, new material specifications, credit risks, etc.; for non-project controlled requests
  • Works closely with Sales account management, pre-sale and post-sale teams.
  • Co-responsible for quota driven service sales growth, account service plans into achieving goals, and strategies.
  • Successfully promote Caracal to existing customers during routinely meetings;
  • Total responsibility for maintaining total customer satisfaction and customer loyalty via warranty and service products sold;
  • Sales confidence and abilities are required in establishing customer meetings, making presentations and providing customers with the required services while being able to generate new sales opportunities;
  • Improve the operational systems, processes and policies in support of organizations mission specifically, support better management reporting, information flow and management, business process and organizational planning and
  • Play a significant role in long-term planning, including an initiative geared toward operational excellence.
  • Ensure correct data entry in ERP.
  • Develop and support the production of marketing activities and materials.
  • Collaborate with upper management, R&D and product development staff.
  • Develop customer, competitor, and market understanding for assigned market sub-segments.
  • Support management across EDGE in terms of market communication and PR.
  • Other job related tasks assigned by the Line Manager.
  • Use appropriate personal protective equipment.
  • Comply with relevant established EHS instructions and procedures.

Experience & Educational Qualifications

  • Bachelor Degree in related field or equivalent.
  • 5 years of experience in Sales Support/Customer Service - Ideally in defense Industry.
  • Full IT literacy, both with Standard Communication Tools (MS Office) and ERP-systems.
  • Excellent Analytical Skills including processing large amounts of operating and sales data from a variety of sources to support decision making.
  • Project management skills.
  • Experience in international tenders and bidding processes.
  • Good communication in English other additional languages. Arabic is preferred.
