Job Description
The role holder is responsible for the day-to-day management of learning initiatives and programs aligned with the learning strategy of allocated business functions.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Key Responsibilities
- Supports and implements the learning programs of the allocated business unit.
- Ensures compliance with internal quality standards.
- Training Planning
- Delivers on the training needs analysis, in line with the approved organizational strategy, its applications for each group, growth plans, and future capability requirements.
Training Delivery
- Oversees the development of in-house courses and content for the identified trainings to ensure effectiveness.
- Liaises with external trainers or training vendors at local, regional, and global levels to provide best-in-class training in line with international standards to all employees.
- Ensures cost-efficient procurement of learning services – learning facilities, content, and delivery.
Training Program Evaluation
- Measures the ROI on learning and development and the effectiveness of training imparted, to understand high-impact interventions and subsequent allocation of learning and development budgets.
Job Context
Learning & Development Activities
- Designs, obtains necessary approvals, delivers, assesses, develops, and evaluates the best-in-class customized training delivery models – CBT, presentations, textbooks, and instructor guides for various leadership levels.
- Liaises with all respective stakeholders, trainees, trainers, subject matter experts, product managers, and vendors to understand training needs and continuously develop and deliver course offerings.
- Sources and manages vendors (if applicable) from initial identification through RFP process to day-to-day operational management of program design and delivery and assessment.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (Human Resources) or related discipline.
