SearchPlus HR, a leading healthcare recruitment firm, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Specialist in Brain Injury Medicine to join our client's esteemed medical facility. This role involves providing comprehensive care to patients with brain injuries, aiming to improve their quality of life and support their recovery.

The Specialist in Brain Injury Medicine will:

  1. Perform detailed assessments and develop tailored treatment plans.
  2. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care.
  3. Engage with patients and families, offering education and support.
  4. Implement evidence-based practices to achieve optimal outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct evaluations and diagnostics for patients with brain injuries, including traumatic brain injuries and strokes.
  • Formulate individualized treatment strategies addressing medical, rehabilitative, and psychological needs.
  • Oversee medication administration and therapeutic interventions specific to brain injuries.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
  • Collaborate with neurologists, physiatrists, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Educate patients and families on management and prevention of brain injuries.
  • Stay updated with advancements in brain injury medicine and incorporate findings into practice.

Qualifications:

  • Medical Doctor (MD) with a valid license to practice.
  • Residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation or a related field.
  • Board certification in Brain Injury Medicine is highly desirable.
