Job description

The Specialist Gynecologist provides expert care in diagnosing, treating, and managing conditions related to the female reproductive system. This role includes conducting regular examinations, managing pregnancies, performing procedures, and delivering specialized treatments in accordance with UAE healthcare standards. Working within hospitals, clinics, or medical centers, the specialist ensures patient-centered care while maintaining strict compliance with medical ethics and local regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities:

1. Conducting gynecological examinations, screenings, and diagnostic tests to assess and manage patient health.
2. Managing prenatal care, labor, and postnatal care for pregnant women, ensuring safe outcomes for both mother and child.
3. Diagnosing and treating reproductive system disorders, including hormonal issues, infections, and menstrual irregularities.
4. Performing procedures such as pap smears, colposcopies, hysteroscopies, laparoscopies, and other minor surgical interventions.
5. Counseling patients on family planning, contraceptives, and preventive women's health care.
6. Coordinating with other healthcare providers for multidisciplinary treatment when necessary.
7. Maintaining detailed and confidential patient records in line with clinical standards.
8. Ensuring adherence to UAE healthcare regulations, licensing requirements, and patient safety protocols.

Requirements:

1. Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) with specialization in Obstetrics and Gynecology from a recognized institution.
2. Valid license to practice as a Specialist Gynecologist in UAE.
3. Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience, including both outpatient and inpatient care.
4. Proficiency in performing gynecological procedures and handling obstetric cases.
5. Strong diagnostic and decision-making skills with a compassionate and patient-focused approach.
6. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
7. Fluency in English is required; Arabic is an advantage.
