Job summary

Talentspoc LLC in Dubai is seeking an experienced Specialist General Surgeon to provide comprehensive surgical care, diagnose, and manage a wide range of general surgical conditions, and deliver high-quality patient outcomes.

The ideal candidate will perform elective and emergency procedures, lead pre- and post-operative care, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and educate patients and families about treatment options and recovery.

Qualifications

• MBBS or equivalent medical qualification recognised internationally.
• Postgraduate General Surgery qualification (Master's/ fellowship) recognised internationally.
• Minimum 3 years post-specialization clinical experience.
• Experience in elective and emergency general surgical procedures.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and manage patients with general surgical conditions.
• Perform elective and emergency general surgical procedures.
• Manage abdominal, GI tract, hernias, gallbladder, appendix, and soft tissue conditions.
• Conduct preoperative evaluations and develop surgical treatment plans.
• Provide postoperative care and monitor recovery.
• Collaborate with physicians, anesthesiologists, nurses, and other specialists.
• Maintain medical records and follow established clinical standards.
• Educate patients and families about treatment options, surgical procedures, and recovery plans.

• Manage conditions involving the abdomen, gastrointestinal tract, hernias, gallbladder, appendix, and soft tissues.
• Conduct preoperative evaluations and develop appropriate surgical treatment plans.
• Provide postoperative care and monitor patients' recovery.
• Manage surgical emergencies and complications effectively.
• Collaborate with physicians, anesthesiologists, nurses, and other specialists.
• Maintain accurate medical records and follow established clinical standards.
• Educate patients and families about treatment options, surgical procedures, and recovery plans.

Qualifications & Requirements

• MBBS or equivalent internationally recognized primary medical qualification.
• Relevant Master's degree, postgraduate specialist qualification, fellowship, or equivalent internationally recognized qualification in General Surgery.
• Minimum 3 years of post-specialization clinical experience preferred.
• Proven experience in elective and emergency general surgical procedures.
• Strong clinical judgment, surgical skills, and patient-management abilities.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
