TalentSpoc in the United Arab Emirates is seeking a Specialist General Surgeon to join our healthcare facility. The candidate will diagnose and manage a broad range of general surgical conditions, employing both open and laparoscopic techniques where appropriate.

The role requires minimum 3 years post-specialization experience, strong surgical skills, and the ability to work within a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree required.
• MS/DNB or equivalent in General Surgery required.
• Minimum 3 years post-specialization experience preferred.
• Strong experience in general and laparoscopic surgery.
• Excellent surgical skills and clinical judgment.

Responsabilités

• Evaluate and manage patients requiring surgical intervention.
• Perform elective and emergency general surgical procedures.
• Manage conditions involving GI tract, abdomen, hernias, gallbladder, and soft tissues.
• Perform laparoscopic and minimally invasive procedures where appropriate.
• Conduct comprehensive preoperative assessments and develop individualized surgical plans.
• Provide postoperative care and monitor patient recovery.
• Manage surgical emergencies and complications.
• Perform minor surgical procedures and wound management.
• Collaborate with anesthesiologists, gastroenterologists, radiologists, and other specialists.
• Counsel patients regarding treatment options, surgical procedures, risks, and recovery.
• Maintain accurate clinical and surgical documentation.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
