Detailed Job Description

As a Specialist – Data Encryption & Key Management supporting IDC Technologies in the UAE, you will take full operational, tactical, and technical ownership of enterprise encryption platforms, key management services, and L2 incident management for mission-critical production environments. Your day-to-day responsibilities include configuring and administering Fortanix DSM, Fortanix Armor, and Key Insight/CCM platforms, implementing Bring Your Own Key (BYOK) and Hold Your Own Key (HYOK) integrations with cloud providers, managing Microsoft Azure Key Vault and IAM policies, orchestrating Oracle ERP and on-premises application cryptographic integrations, performing certificate management, TLS troubleshooting, and PKI maintenance, and handling L2 incident management and production support tickets. You will utilize your proactive troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving skills to resolve complex cryptographic anomalies under strict enterprise service level agreements. Key Responsibilities

• Architect, deploy, configure, and maintain enterprise data encryption platforms and Hardware Security Module (HSM) infrastructures.
• Administer Fortanix DSM, Fortanix Armor, and Key Insight/CCM platforms across production and non-production environments.
• Design and execute Bring Your Own Key (BYOK) and Hold Your Own Key (HYOK) integration workflows with cloud service providers.
• Manage Microsoft Azure Key Vault, identity and access management (IAM) policies, and cloud cryptographic keys.
• Orchestrate seamless cryptographic and data encryption integrations between Oracle ERP, on-premises applications, and backend systems.
• Execute certificate management, Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) maintenance, and complex TLS troubleshooting.
• Implement and consume REST APIs, Key Management Interoperability Protocol (KMIP), PKCS#11, and Java Cryptography Extension (JCE).
• Provide L2 incident management, root cause analysis, operational maintenance, and 24/7 production support for cryptographic systems.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum of 7+ years of progressive professional experience in cybersecurity, enterprise data encryption, and key management.
• Strong, demonstrable hands-on operational expertise with Fortanix DSM, Fortanix Armor, and Key Insight/CCM platforms.
• Deep practical proficiency in enterprise encryption, HSM platforms, BYOK/HYOK integrations, and Microsoft Azure Key Vault.
• Solid practical experience integrating cryptography with Oracle ERP and complex on-premises enterprise applications.
• Comprehensive working knowledge of cryptographic protocols, certificate management, TLS troubleshooting, REST APIs, KMIP, PKCS#11, and JCE.
• Exceptional analytical, troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving capabilities under mission-critical security conditions.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills with strong stakeholder collaboration abilities.
• Mandatory local residency and physical availability for full-time on-site employment based in the UAE.
