Detailed Job Description:

As a Security Architect based on-site in Abu Dhabi, UAE, you will take full operational, tactical, and technical ownership of cloud security implementation, Sentinel SIEM monitoring, Privileged Access Management, and network defense controls. Your day-to-day responsibilities include configuring Microsoft Defender for Cloud and Azure security environments, deploying Microsoft Purview for data governance, managing Microsoft Sentinel for threat detection, implementing CyberArk and Forcepoint security solutions, establishing robust network security controls, and collaborating with IT infrastructure squads. You will utilize your proactive troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving skills to resolve complex security bottlenecks under strict enterprise compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, configure, deploy, and maintain robust enterprise security architectures and cloud defense controls.
• Administer Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Azure security policies, and multi-cloud protection mechanisms.
• Implement Microsoft Purview for data classification, loss prevention, and compliance governance.
• Configure, tune, and manage Microsoft Sentinel SIEM for real-time threat detection, hunting, and incident response.
• Deploy and maintain CyberArk PAM solutions and Forcepoint security gateways across enterprise environments.
• Establish comprehensive network security controls, firewalls, secure web gateways, and perimeter defenses.
• Conduct periodic security audits, vulnerability assessments, and remediation tracking across cloud and on-premise assets.
• Author meticulous technical documentation, security runbooks, architecture diagrams, and incident response procedures.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum of 8+ years of progressive professional experience in cybersecurity, security engineering, and cloud architecture.
• Strong, demonstrable hands-on operational expertise in Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Azure security, and Microsoft Sentinel.
• Practical knowledge of Microsoft Purview data governance, CyberArk PAM, and Forcepoint security solutions.
• Solid understanding of network security controls, TCP/IP, firewalls, and encryption standards.
• Exceptional analytical, troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving capabilities under high-pressure enterprise environments.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills with strong technical collaboration and documentation abilities.
• Mandatory UAE physical residency and current availability in the UAE (immediate joiners to candidates available within 30 days preferred).

Professional Certifications & Preferred Experience:

• Professional security certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate, or CEH.
• Prior professional working experience in top-tier technology consulting firms, financial services, or telecommunications enterprises in the GCC.
• Familiarity with automation scripting (PowerShell, Python) for security log analysis and incident automation.
• Direct exposure to zero trust network access (ZTNA) implementation.
