Detailed Job Description

As a Network Security Engineer (L2/L3) supporting advanced enterprise infrastructure in the UAE with HTP Global Technologies, you will take full operational, tactical, and technical ownership of firewall policies, load balancing frameworks, network security monitoring, and incident management. Your day-to-day responsibilities include configuring and troubleshooting FortiGate firewalls, F5 BIG-IP load balancers, and Palo Alto security appliances, implementing network access controls, conducting root-cause analysis (RCA) for complex security incidents, and supporting critical network upgrades. You will utilize your proactive, hands-on engineering skills to maintain robust network routing and switching environments. Key Responsibilities

• Manage, configure, deploy, and troubleshoot enterprise network security infrastructure, firewalls, and load balancing systems.
• Provide expert L2 and L3-level technical support for complex network security incidents, outages, and performance bottlenecks.
• Implement, maintain, and audit firewall policies, security rules, NAT settings, and network access control lists (ACLs).
• Monitor and optimize network security systems, VPN tunnels, and perimeter defenses to ensure high availability and uptime.
• Troubleshoot advanced routing and switching issues, firewall clustering anomalies, and F5 BIG-IP load balancing configurations.
• Support seamless security implementations, firmware upgrades, network expansions, and architectural configuration changes.
• Conduct rigorous root-cause analysis (RCA), incident triage, and forensic log reviews for security anomalies.
• Collaborate cross-functional with internal IT teams, system administrators, and external technology vendors.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Network Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum of 4 to 7 years of progressive professional experience in enterprise network security administration and L2/L3 support.
• Strong practical hands-on operational expertise in Fortinet (FortiGate Firewalls), F5 (Load Balancing / BIG-IP), and Palo Alto Firewalls.
• Comprehensive knowledge of network routing and switching protocols (BGP, OSPF, VLANs, STP).
• Proven experience in incident management, root-cause analysis, firewall configuration, and advanced troubleshooting.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills with strong stakeholder collaboration capabilities.
• Mandatory legal work eligibility in the United Arab Emirates with local residency and availability for on-site operations in the UAE.
• Strong preference for immediate joiners with immediate to 15 days availability.
