Job description

  • Diagnose and manage chronic and acute pain conditions, including musculoskeletal pain, neuropathic pain, cancer pain, and postoperative pain.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans utilizing pharmacological, interventional, and non-pharmacological therapies.
  • Perform advanced interventional procedures such as nerve blocks, epidural injections, radiofrequency ablation, spinal cord stimulation, and other minimally invasive techniques.

Patient Education and Support:

  • Educate patients and their families about pain management strategies and the expected outcomes of treatments.
  • Provide guidance on lifestyle changes, physical therapy, and psychological interventions to support long-term pain relief.

Collaboration and Multidisciplinary Care:

  • Work closely with anesthesiologists, neurologists, physiotherapists, psychologists, and other specialists to deliver comprehensive pain management services.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss complex cases and ensure integrated care.

Education and Mentorship:

  • Train and mentor medical trainees, nurses, and allied health professionals in pain medicine principles and practices.
  • Organize and participate in continuing medical education (CME) activities and workshops related to pain management.

  • Valid medical license to practice in UAE.
  • Expertise in managing a wide range of pain conditions using both interventional and non-interventional approaches.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
