Qualifications

• Board-certified ophthalmologist with recognized post‑specialisation training.
• Eligibility for Consultant-level licensing with DHA, DOH, or MOHAP.
• Minimum 3–5 years of post‑specialisation experience.
• Ability to perform ophthalmic procedures and surgeries within expertise.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive ophthalmic assessments, diagnosis, and management of patients with various eye conditions.
• Diagnose and treat diseases affecting cornea, retina, optic nerve, lens, and other eye structures.
• Manage glaucoma, cataracts, retinal disorders, and refractive errors.
• Perform ophthalmic procedures and surgeries within your expertise.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings and guidelines.
• Monitor outcomes and provide follow-up care.
• Collaborate with other medical specialists for complex cases.
• Educate patients about eye conditions, treatment options, and preventive care.
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with clinical standards.
• Participate in clinical audits and departmental development.

About the Role

We are seeking a distinguished Consultant Ophthalmologist with extensive expertise in diagnosing and managing a wide range of eye conditions. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive ophthalmic care, perform advanced diagnostic assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver medical and surgical eye care as appropriate.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive ophthalmic assessments, diagnosis, and management of patients with various eye conditions
• Diagnose and treat diseases affecting the cornea, retina, optic nerve, lens, and other structures of the eye
• Manage conditions such as glaucoma, cataracts, retinal disorders, and refractive errors
• Perform ophthalmic procedures and surgeries within the candidate’s area of expertise
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings and evidence-based guidelines

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of post-specialisation experience in Ophthalmology
• Eligibility for Consultant-level licensing with DHA, DOH, or MOHAP
