Job summary

ADNOC Logistics & Services is seeking a Chartering Support professional to provide technical and administrative assistance to the chartering team. You will assist in ship in/out activities, prepare essential documentation, and support negotiation phases to ensure favorable terms and compliant conditions.

The role requires a university degree in a commercial discipline and 5–10 years of relevant energy-sector experience with international oil operators or cargo traders.

• 5-10 years relevant and principal experience in energy sector with international Oil company/ Owner / Operator / Cargo Trader dealing

Responsibilities

• Assist in activities relating to the chartering in / out of ships, providing administrative and technical support.
• Prepare related documentations to meet requirements for ship utilization in line with standards and requirements.
• Provides technical and administrative assistance during negotiation phase of the terms of charter to ensure favorable terms and compliance with requirements.
• Prepare reports and document and file relevant market information for timely access by stakeholders.
• Maintain database and contact details of internal and external parties; ensure smooth flow of chartering activities.

About the Job

Provide technical support to the chartering team ensuring that all formalities are completed for the chartering activities.

Job Specific Accountabilities

• Assist in activities relating to the chartering in / out of ships, providing administrative and technical support.
• Prepare related documentations in order to meet requirements for ship utilization in line with standards and requirements.
• Provides technical and administrative assistance during negotiation phase of the terms of charter in order to ensure achievement of terms and conditions commercially favorable and terms and conditions meet requirements.
• Prepare reports and document and file relevant market information and ensure that required information is made available on a timely and professional manner.
• Maintain data base and contact details of internal and external parties. Receive and advise information as instructed for smooth flow of chartering activities.

Minimum Requirements

• University degree in a commercial discipline or equivalent qualification.
• 5-10 years relevant and principal experience in energy sector working with an international Oil company/ Owner / Operator / Cargo Trader dealing

Professional Certifications

• Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers (preferred).
