SPECIALIST ACCOUNTING - UAE

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organisation :

To ensure financial data accuracy by booking, reconciling accounts, and preparing reports.

Key Responsibilities :
  • Booking of trade and non-trade expenses
  • Fixed Assets: creation, booking, disposal, depreciation, tagging, physical count, and reconciliations
  • Capex tracking and request handling
  • Perform IFRS 16 valuations and lease reconciliations
  • Create lease commitment and cost trackers
  • Approve and check T&E expenses via Concur
  • Manage Business Amex setup and amendments
  • Enforce T&E policy compliance
  • Vendor account reconciliations and employee vendor management
  • Review monthly travel allowances
  • Support external audits
  • Payroll and store tender reconciliations
  • Handle petty cash and cash counts
  • Monthly balance sheet reconciliations for GCC entities
  • Reconcile intercompany accounts and process related payments
  • Manage inventory, GIT aging, and reconciliations
  • Prepare cost of sales reconciliations
  • Issue month-end reports for GCC functions
  • Ensure P&L accuracy for retail stores and overheads
  • Support month-end activities (SAP/CFIN)
  • Handle ad-hoc accounting requests
