Creating, improving, and maintaining content primarily on the Group website and other associated landing pages/sites as required, to achieve our group business goals.
Job Description :
- Developing content strategy aligned with short, medium-term, and long-term marketing objectives.
- Collaborating with the communication, business teams to design, plan, and develop site content, style, and layouts.
- Developing an editorial calendar and ensuring communication and brand teams are on board.
- Creating and publishing engaging content.
- Editing, proofreading, and improving language.
- Liaising with communication team, agencies, and content writers to ensure brand consistency.
- Optimizing content according to SEO requirements, working with the digital marketing/SEO specialist.
- Using content management systems to analyze website traffic and users’ engagement metrics.
- Managing content distribution to online channels and social media platforms to increase web traffic through backlinks, etc.
- Ensuring compliance with laws (e.g., copyright, GDPR, data protection).
- Staying up-to-date with developments and generating new ideas to attract audience attention.
- Executing any other functional duties related to social media account management as required by the team lead.
Profile :
- Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Marketing, or relevant field.
- This role is specifically for an Arabic speaker.
- Must have excellent English and Arabic writing skills.
- Proven work experience as a Content Specialist or lead.
- Hands-on experience with MS Office, Concrete 5, Contentstack, or similar platforms.
- Basic technical knowledge of HTML and web publishing.
- Knowledge of SEO and web traffic metrics.
- Familiarity with all major social media platforms, including managing social media content calendars, scheduling and timely deployment of social releases, and social listening/community management in collaboration with the social media/CRM specialist.
- Attention to detail.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Managing users and optimizing the digital experience within a CMS.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
