The Job

Creating, improving, and maintaining content primarily on the Group website and other associated landing pages/sites as required, to achieve our group business goals.

Job Description :

  1. Developing content strategy aligned with short, medium-term, and long-term marketing objectives.
  2. Collaborating with the communication, business teams to design, plan, and develop site content, style, and layouts.
  3. Developing an editorial calendar and ensuring communication and brand teams are on board.
  4. Creating and publishing engaging content.
  5. Editing, proofreading, and improving language.
  6. Liaising with communication team, agencies, and content writers to ensure brand consistency.
  7. Optimizing content according to SEO requirements, working with the digital marketing/SEO specialist.
  8. Using content management systems to analyze website traffic and users’ engagement metrics.
  9. Managing content distribution to online channels and social media platforms to increase web traffic through backlinks, etc.
  10. Ensuring compliance with laws (e.g., copyright, GDPR, data protection).
  11. Staying up-to-date with developments and generating new ideas to attract audience attention.
  12. Executing any other functional duties related to social media account management as required by the team lead.

Profile :

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Marketing, or relevant field.
  2. This role is specifically for an Arabic speaker.
  3. Must have excellent English and Arabic writing skills.
  4. Proven work experience as a Content Specialist or lead.
  5. Hands-on experience with MS Office, Concrete 5, Contentstack, or similar platforms.
  6. Basic technical knowledge of HTML and web publishing.
  7. Knowledge of SEO and web traffic metrics.
  8. Familiarity with all major social media platforms, including managing social media content calendars, scheduling and timely deployment of social releases, and social listening/community management in collaboration with the social media/CRM specialist.
  9. Attention to detail.
  10. Good organizational and time-management skills.
  11. Managing users and optimizing the digital experience within a CMS.
  12. Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
