About Wynn Al Marjan Island

On schedule to open in the United Arab Emirates in early 2027, Wynn Al Marjan Island has been created as an opulent and entertaining beachside destination for discerning guests to play and relax. Located less than 50 minutes from Dubai International Airport, this integrated resort offering 1,530 rooms and suites, 22 restaurants and lounges, a theatre, nightclub, and five-star spa is currently under construction on a picturesque island that gracefully curves into the Arabian Gulf.

About The Position

Wynn Al Marjan Island is currently seeking a Special Events Manager to join the resort’s Event Operations team.

The Primary Duties And Responsibilities Of This Role Are
  • Event Strategy & Design: Develop unique event concepts aligned with brand standards and guest expectations, including galas, cultural showcases, seasonal celebrations, and VIP activations
  • Project Management: Lead end-to-end planning and execution of special events, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality benchmarks are met
  • Team Coordination: Manage cross-functional teams including entertainment, production, culinary, and guest services to deliver seamless events
  • Vendor Relations: Source, negotiate, and manage external vendors for décor, entertainment, AV, and logistics
  • Guest Engagement: Serve as the on-site lead for special events, ensuring personalized service and memorable experiences for guests
  • Marketing and Package Creation: Create curated events including conception of events based on relevance, ticketed packages, event identity, marketing, sales and building the event aesthetics, and customer journey.
  • Budget Management: Oversee event budgets, track expenditures, and implement cost-effective solutions without compromising quality
  • Compliance & Safety: Ensure all events adhere to safety regulations, licensing requirements, and internal policies
  • Post-Event Analysis: Conduct debriefs, gather feedback, and prepare performance reports to inform future planning
  • Innovation & Trends: Stay ahead of industry trends and incorporate fresh ideas to elevate the resort’s event offerings
About You

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

  • Minimum 5–7 years of experience in luxury event management, hospitality, or entertainment production
  • Background in hotel or events companies with exposure to themed events and the gaming industry
  • Proven success in executing high-impact events with complex logistics and diverse stakeholder groups
  • Strong creative vision and ability to translate concepts into operational plans
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Proficiency in event planning software, Microsoft Office Suite, and design/diagramming tools (e.g., Social Tables, CAD, Delphi)
  • Experience managing budgets, contracts, and vendor relationships
