Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Special Education or Psychology required.
• Relevant teaching experience in UAE preferred.
• Candidates currently in UAE and ready to join immediately preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure inclusion policy objectives across all school phases.
• Assess students’ skills to determine needs and develop teaching plans.
• Adapt curriculum and assessments to meet individual student needs.
• Record learning data related to SoD students and monitor progress.
• Create IEPs or Behavior Plans with SLT, school counselor, class teacher and parents.
• Implement IEPs, assess performance, and track progress.
• Plan and assign activities specific to each student’s abilities.
• Discuss progress with parents, teachers, counselors and administrators.
• Mentor LSAs who work with students with special needs.
• Previous experience in an inclusive school preferred.
• Candidates on sponsored/own visa preferred.
