As a professional in your role, your responsibilities and essential job functions will include but are not limited to:

• Deliver a wide range of spa treatments including Thai massage, Swedish massage, hot stone therapy, aromatherapy, deep tissue massage, body scrubs, and facials.
• Conduct consultations with guests to understand their individual needs and recommend appropriate treatments.
• Maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of all treatment rooms, equipment, and common areas in accordance with health and safety standards.
• Prepare treatment rooms prior to guest arrival, ensuring all necessary products and equipment are available and presented professionally.
• Maintain knowledge of spa offerings and promote additional services or retail products in a professional and courteous manner.
• Ensure guest comfort, satisfaction, and privacy at all times.
• Attend training sessions and product knowledge workshops as required by management.
• Maintain accurate treatment records and contribute to guest feedback initiatives.
• Adhere to IHG and local health and safety regulations.

Ideally, you should possess some or all the following qualifications and experience:

• Diploma or certification in Massage Therapy or Spa Therapy from a recognized institution.
• Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in a luxury spa, hotel, or wellness center.
• Valid license or certification to practice massage therapy.
• Additional certifications in specialized treatments (e.g., Hot Stone, Aromatherapy) are an advantage.
• Proficient in Thai and Swedish massage techniques.
• Skilled in hot stone therapy, deep tissue massage, and aromatherapy.
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and contraindications for massage treatments.
• High standard of personal presentation and hygiene.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong guest service orientation with the ability to personalize experiences.
• Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
• Calm, courteous, and professional demeanor.
• Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
