Spa Therapist

• Follow all established health and safety procedures in every treatment for guests' well-being, utmost comfort, and satisfaction.
• Conduct thorough consultations with clients to understand their specific needs, preferences, and any health concerns.
• Perform a variety of spa treatments such as massages, facials, body wraps, and other beauty and wellness therapies.
• Use appropriate techniques, products, and equipment to deliver high-quality services.
• Complete all necessary paperwork (questionnaire, consultation forms) correctly and refer to supervisor/manager prior to any treatment delivery. Document pertinent information on the guest's personal record.
• Massage the body, using techniques such as kneading, rubbing, and stroking to stimulate blood circulation, relax contracted muscles, or relieve other conditions.
• Administer steam or dry heat, ultraviolet, infrared, or water treatments at the request of the guest.
• Provide directions to clients in activities such as reducing or remedial exercises.
• Record treatments furnished to customers.
• Ensure that treatment rooms are tidy and that all items are available, e.g., towels, candles, oils, etc.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, following all hygiene and safety protocols.
• Adhere to spa policies and procedures related to cleanliness, sanitation, and client confidentiality.
• Promote spa services and products to clients, aiming to enhance their overall spa experience.
• Upsell additional services or products when appropriate.

Ideally, you'll have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role in a four or five-star hotel or comparable industry, the ability to demonstrate working with and engaging teams from different cultures, strong verbal and written communication skills, and a focus on quality with attention to detail. You should have high-performance standards, be able to multitask in the Spa & Health Club, meet deadlines, and be committed to serving the guest with the highest quality. A Spa Therapist License or Certification is required.
