We need a Spa Therapist to keep our spa flowing smoothly.
As one of our hotel’s greatest assets, we’re looking for passionate people to maintain the sense of health and hush in our spa. First and foremost, we’re looking for a Spa Therapist with a great deal of wellness knowledge – people who can recommend our premium products.
Key Responsibilities
Spa Operation :
- Ambience, special touches and guest interaction are reviewed and corrected whenever they do not meet the required standards.
- All materials and supplies needed to operate to the required standards are available without interruption.
- The Spa’s operational and financial figures are reported punctually and accurately.
- The spa generates sufficient client feedback to provide relevant and reliable guest satisfaction data.
- The Spa’s operations manual is frequently reviewed and updated. All aspects of manuals are implemented and monitored.
- Regular communication in the form of conference calls, meetings and workshops with relevant personnel is in place.
- All business units receive an appropriate number of visits per year to support business performance.
Business unit performance with maximum profitability.
- All business has an annual budget and follows up on their business performance against the budget a regular basis.
- All unit managers analyze their P&L statements and take appropriate action to positively impact on their results.
- National and local promotions are developed, implemented, and monitored to enhance revenue.
- Spa capacity (Facilities, therapists) are scheduled to achieve maximum utilization.
- All spas realize sales potential through effective visual merchandising and appropriate training activities.
- All products and treatments are priced to sell and are in relation to each spa’s client base.
Relationships with all business partners are maintained and nurtured to mutual benefit.
- Each business partner is pro-actively contacted and, if appropriate, met regularly to ensure their satisfaction and concerns can be handled effectively.
- Spa supervisor attends relevant regular hotel meetings to ensure the spa is integrated into daily and medium-term hotel operations.
- Spa supervisors liaise regularly with relevant hotel departments to maximize capture rates.
- Suppliers view MSpa as a fair business partner. Doing business with MSpa is a win-win proposition.
- Business associations seek MSpa participation and involvement in their activities.
The MSpa Brand integrity is reinforced within all interactions and business units.
- The MSpa Core Values are reflected in the conduct of all MSpa employees.
- All existing and future facilities, products, and treatments reflect the core values.
- Annual business plans following company standards are prepared for the whole company and each spa outlining their strategies for the next 12 months.
- Guest feedback, industry trends, and competitor research are analyzed and shared regularly with the Executive Committee.
- Brand positioning research is to be implemented and maintained.
- Collateral for individual spas and promotions is available in good time.
MSpa employees are continually developed and challenged to maximize their potential.

- Spa Supervisors and Assistant Spa Operations Managers have access to career development and guidance.
- Performance of Spa Supervisors and Assistant Spa Operations Managers is closely monitored, with guidance and coaching provided proactively.

Adherence to policies and safety standards is mandatory.
- Understand and adhere to company policies on fire, hygiene, health, and safety.
- Report punctually for duty, wear the correct uniform, and display the name badge at all times.
- Carry out other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications
- At least 3 years’ experience as a Senior Spa Therapist in a 5-star spa.
- 2 years multi-unit experience.
- Knowledge of spa therapy and presentation skills.
- Keen on P&L.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Professional grooming.
- Self-motivated.
- Knowledge of current spa trends, industry, and philosophy (balance, relaxation, unity, and a healthy lifestyle).
