Job Description
- Answer telephone inquiries promptly and professionally, and channel to the appropriate person for assistance.
- Greet members and guests in a friendly and efficient manner.
- Escort guests as required.
- Be knowledgeable about all aspects of treatments and the facility.
- Have knowledge of spa therapy.
- Provide information and literature about the facility in person and via telephone.
- Control entry into all areas of the facility by restricting all unauthorized individuals.
- Collect payments or other suitable payments from clients for all services rendered.
- Manage treatment bookings and scheduling.
- Give tours of the spa, as required.
- Ensure the smooth operation of reception.
- Respond to inquiries by phone and in person, providing complete details of all spa aspects.
- Handle special assignments.
- Coordinate sales packets when needed.
- Maintain office files and records.
- Assist in the administration and implementation of staff training in reception operations, including business telephone usage, guest relations, retail sales, and spa services (massage, loofah, facial, etc.).
- Assist in the operation of all spa departments.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a luxury hotel or spa front-of-house position.
- Computer literate, preferably with knowledge of spa reservation systems.
- Passion for guest care.
- Personal interest in spa treatments and holistic lifestyle.
- Telephone skills, ideally in conjunction with handling reservations.
- Able to work within a team with rotating shifts.
