Job Description
  1. Manage and oversee spa operations to ensure successful achievement of overall business goals and objectives.
  2. Establish long-range strategies and develop standards to measure service/sales performance and individual productivity.
  3. Assess the market for qualified technician/therapist and front desk candidates and direct effective recruiting techniques to attract and hire talented staff.
  4. Develop and maintain cooperation and teamwork within the spa, placing a high emphasis on customer service and satisfaction.
  5. Train and motivate staff, communicate performance expectations, and develop specific goals/objectives.
  6. Interact with hotel departments and participate in meetings as appropriate.
  7. Establish spa goals and objectives, monitor performance, and provide timely follow-up.
  8. Recruit, train, develop, and motivate staff to maintain teamwork and ensure maximum service and retail sales results.
  9. Monitor and control payroll and operating expenses to successfully achieve spa profit plan.
  10. Implement inventory control procedures to ensure that adequate stock levels are maintained.
  11. Plan, organize, and monitor all packages and promotions.
Qualifications
  1. High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  2. College Degree in Business, Hospitality, or related field preferred.
  3. Two or more years in a public contact position, preferably in an upscale or lifestyle brand hotel.
  4. Ability to enter and locate work-related information using computers and/or point of sale systems.
  5. Possess a gracious, friendly, and fun demeanor.
  6. Ability to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment, and have a high level of attention to detail.
  7. Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
  8. Maintain positive and productive working relationships with other employees and departments.
  9. Ability to work independently and to partner with others to promote an environment of teamwork.
