Spa Attendant (Female) | Waldorf Astoria Dubai Palm Jumeirah

A Spa Attendant with Waldorf Astoria Hotels and Resorts is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, ambiance, and functionality of the spa and salon areas, while ensuring guests feel relaxed and well cared for from the moment they arrive.

What will I be doing

As a Spa Attendant, you are responsible for the cleaning and to report general maintenance issues of the Spa to deliver an excellent Guest and Member experience. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

1. Ensure the tidiness and appearance of spa locker rooms, lounge areas, and hospitality stations throughout the shift.
2. Carry out thorough and regular cleaning of the spa and changing rooms to maintain impeccable hygiene and presentation.
3. Dispose of trash and soiled linens in designated areas and secure all spa supplies and equipment at the end of each shift.
4. Obtain clean towels and linens from the Laundry team, and fold, stock, and organize them in appropriate areas.
5. Replenish towels, linens, guest amenities, and refreshments in the spa/salon areas and lounge.
6. Promptly notify the Engineering department of any maintenance or repair issues in the spa or salon.
7. Liaise with Housekeeping to ensure cleaning supply stock levels are maintained and replenished as needed.
8. Maintain a consistently high level of cleanliness in all areas of the spa, ensuring a safe and luxurious experience for all guests.
9. Greet guests warmly and assist with check-in, providing orientation on locker room usage, lounge access, and spa amenities.
10. Answer general inquiries about the spa services, hotel offerings, and facilities.
11. Assist guests in selecting spa treatments by explaining options and offerings with professionalism and enthusiasm.
12. Ensure every guest is greeted upon arrival and offered assistance or direction when needed, maintaining a warm and attentive presence.
13. Anticipate guest needs by observing preferences and engaging in thoughtful conversation.
14. Promptly report any lost property, accidents, maintenance issues, or incidents to the appropriate departments following hotel protocols.
15. Follow all safety procedures and sanitation guidelines in alignment with hotel and legal standards.
16. Ensure strict adherence to health and safety regulations, contributing to a secure and compliant spa environment.

7. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with guests and team members.
