Job summary

Atlantis, The Palm in Dubai is seeking a talented Sous Chef to support the Chef de Cuisine in delivering exceptional dining experiences within our luxury resort. You will oversee kitchen operations, uphold standards, and mentor a diverse team of culinary professionals.

With a Diploma in Catering and at least 5 years of high-end kitchen experience, you will deliver refined cuisine across multiple cuisines, maintain hygiene, manage stock, and collaborate with other departments.

About The Role

As a Sous Chef – you will be assisting the Chef de Cuisine to lead, manage and organize all requirements to the highest standards in accordance with the standard operating procedures. You will ensure proper hygiene and sanitation in the areas under your jurisdiction, adequate stocks of working materials, inter–department coordination and training. You must ensure and enforce the set service standard procedures by directing, supervising, and motivating staff to perform to their highest level of service.

About You

The ideal candidate must have a Diploma in Catering with a minimum of 5 years’ professional kitchen experience. Relevant experience of a variety of cuisines, or a specific style of cuisine related to the position is also required. Demonstrated ability to deliver an exceptional standard of cuisine, supported by industry recognition or awards, is preferred. Experience in a similar role within a 5-star Hotel or in a Michelin Star Restaurant together with suitable experience in leadership is essential in this role.
