About Madinat Jumeirah:

Madinat Jumeirah is a mega-resort featuring four ultra-luxurious hotels: Jumeirah Al Naseem, Jumeirah Al Qasr, Jumeirah Mina Al Salam, and Jumeirah Dar Al Masyaf. About the Job:

An opportunity has arisen for a Sous Chef to join Kayto at Jumeirah Al Naseem. The main duties include:

  1. Preparing and cooking high-quality food per menu guidelines and recipes.
  2. Following hygiene standards and assisting with cleanliness and waste disposal.
  3. Communicating issues to the Executive Sous Chef and ensuring smooth operations.
  4. Developing new, seasonal, and creative menu ideas using premium ingredients.
  5. Managing staff training and maintaining active training plans.
  6. Ensuring cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards are met, supervising dish quality, and maintaining records.

About You:

The ideal candidate will have:

  1. Expertise in Japanese cuisine, especially Sushi.
  2. At least two years of experience in a similar role within a luxury 5-star property.
  3. A College Degree in Culinary Arts or equivalent from an accredited culinary school.
  4. Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
  5. Good financial skills, including budgeting and cost control experience.
