The Sourcing Manager will be responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies to ensure the procurement of high-quality products and services at competitive prices.
This role requires a deep understanding of international markets, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers worldwide.
Sourcing Strategy Development:
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their capabilities.
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies to optimize cost, quality, and delivery of products and services.
Supplier Management:
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, including negotiating contracts, terms, and conditions.
- Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with agreed-upon terms and quality standards.
Negotiation and Procurement:
- Lead negotiations with suppliers to achieve the best possible terms and pricing.
- Manage the procurement process from identifying needs to issuing purchase orders and ensuring timely delivery.
Market Intelligence:
- Stay informed about market trends, pricing fluctuations, and emerging suppliers to make informed sourcing decisions.
- Analyze supply market dynamics to anticipate and mitigate potential risks.
Collaboration and Coordination:
- Work closely with internal teams, including logistics, finance, and operations, to align sourcing strategies with overall business objectives.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration of sourced products into the supply chain.
Compliance and Reporting:
- Ensure all sourcing activities comply with company policies, legal requirements, and industry regulations.
- Prepare and present regular reports on sourcing activities, cost savings, and supplier performance.
Qualifications:
This is you:
- Bachelor's degree in International Business, International Trade, Supply Chain, or similar related fields is an advantage.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools.
- Customer relationship management (CRM) experience is a plus.
- Proficiency in Chinese is a plus.
- Strong business sense.
- Analytical mind.
- Negotiation skills.
- Team player with great communication and interpersonal skills.
