Role overview:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Sonographer to join our team and contribute to delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services. As a Sonographer, you will play a key role in supporting physicians by performing ultrasound procedures that help detect and monitor various medical conditions.

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations in accordance with clinical protocols and referring physician requests.
  • Operate ultrasound equipment to capture accurate images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Explain procedures to patients, ensure comfort, and address any concerns they may have.
  • Maintain patient safety and confidentiality at all times.
  • Accurately document patient data and imaging results using the facility’s electronic medical records system.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret and review images.
  • Ensure equipment is properly maintained and calibrated.
  • Adhere to infection control and safety guidelines within the imaging department.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Medical Imaging or Diagnostic Ultrasound.
  • Valid licensure/registration in [UAE / DHA / DOH / MOH – as applicable].
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a hospital or diagnostic imaging center.
