Job description

Role Purpose
The Solutions Manager will be responsible for setting up and managing the framework for international wealth management operations with a focus on creating strategic corridors to connect wealth clients across countries where the bank has a presence. The role includes developing and overseeing policies, procedures, and rules of engagement for expanding into new markets, acquiring cross-border NTB wealth clients, and driving international wealth solutions. Additionally, the manager will act as a collaboration leader for the local market, fostering lead referrals from various channels within the bank and creating an efficient lead process flow to ensure successful NTB referrals from Corporate Banking, Business Banking, Brokerage, and other relevant teams.

Key Accountabilities of the role
  1. International Market Strategy Engagement
    Develop and implement the rules of engagement for wealth management operations in international markets. Establish policies and procedures for the seamless operation of wealth management services across countries where the bank has a presence. Ensure compliance with local regulations and bank policies for cross-border wealth management services.
  2. Cross-Border Wealth Management Expansion
    Develop strategies to expand the bank's wealth management footprint in new international markets, facilitating the acquisition of cross-border NTB clients. Lead market-entry strategies for new regions, ensuring that the bank's wealth management offerings are tailored to meet the specific needs of local and international clients. Establish relationships with key stakeholders in targeted regions to ensure smooth market penetration and integration of services.
  3. Client Acquisition & Relationship Management
    Develop strategies to identify high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs) and ultra-high-net-worth individuals (UHNWIs) in local and international markets. Ensure consistent and proactive follow-up on lead referrals and manage the client onboarding process. Work to build feedback loops with NTB clients ensuring client satisfaction and retention.
  4. Performance Reporting
    Monitor the performance of lead referral processes, providing regular reports on the status of NTB acquisition and collaboration efforts. Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success and optimize referral processes. Provide management with regular updates on the progress of international market expansion and NTB client acquisition efforts.
  5. Collaboration Lead Generation in Local Market
    Act as a collaboration manager within the local market, establishing strong relationships with key stakeholders across the bank's various departments (e.g., Corporate Banking, Business Banking, Brokerage, etc.). Develop a robust process for generating wealth NTB leads by facilitating and managing referrals from different internal channels. Create and streamline lead referral processes to ensure smooth and efficient handoffs of wealth NTB leads to the IWM team.
  6. Training & Knowledge Sharing
    Provide training and support to internal teams on wealth management cross-border strategies and lead referral processes. Ensure the team is well-informed about the latest international wealth management trends, policies, and regulatory requirements.
Specialist Skills & Technical Knowledge Required for this role

Previous Experience

3 to 5 years of experience in retail banking, wealth management, private banking, or international business development, preferably with cross-border wealth solutions experience.
