Solutions Architect

Description:

The Solution Architect is responsible for designing and overseeing the implementation of complex software systems that meet the needs of clients. This position requires strong technical expertise, as well as excellent communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to understand their needs and define project requirements
• Design software solutions that meet the needs of clients and align with business goals
• Create architectural diagrams, specifications, and technical documentation to guide development teams
• Oversee the development process, ensuring it adheres to the project's architectural standards and best practices
• Provide technical guidance to development teams, ensuring they build solutions that meet the project's requirements
• Evaluate third-party technologies and integrate them into the project as needed
• Identify and mitigate technical risks throughout the project's lifecycle
• Ensure that software solutions are scalable, secure, and maintainable
• Stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies in software architecture and development

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
• 10+ years of experience in software development, software architecture and solution delivery experience
• 5+ years of experience in delivering large-scale digital transformation programs with strong technical leadership in designing and developing integrated solutions with multiple 3rd parties and sub-systems
• Strong technical expertise in software development, including experience with multiple programming languages, databases, and web technologies
• Experience in designing and implementing complex software systems
• Strong communication skills, including the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Leadership skills, including the ability to mentor and guide development teams
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment with multiple stakeholders
• Experience with Agile development methodologies
• Recent and in-depth architectural experience in Azure and AWS
• Experience with DevOps practices and tools
• Assessing the business impact that certain technical choices have
• Providing updates to stakeholders on product development processes, costs, and budgets
• Previous project management experience is advantageous
• In-depth understanding of programming languages (Java, JavaScript)
• Sound knowledge of various operating systems and databases
• Efficient communication skills
• Strong organizational and leadership skills
• Current candidates residing in the UAE is preferred
• Work on business or customer sites as directed

Technical Skills required:

• Must have Azure infrastructure and application architecture and configuration
• Must have experience in configuring and deploying Azure application microservices
• Must have experience in Web and mobile development on iOS and Android at minimum using .Net and Angular JS technology with Azure SQL database hosted on Azure Cloud
• Worked on VGS Snapp application
• Integration of web and mobile applications with Snapp applications
• Experience in configuring SMTP and Identity server
• Experience in building DevOps pipeline and configuring Gitlab
• Experience in designing integrations for IoT devices and integration with application
• Experience in AI and ML is preferable
