About the Organization:

We are representing a leading and well-established investment fund in Abu Dhabi. As part of its ongoing digital transformation journey, the Fund is seeking a seasoned Senior Solution Specialist to join its technology team.

About the Role:

The Senior Solution Specialist will play a key role in developing technology solutions that align with business objectives and enterprise architecture. You will act as the primary interface between business users and technical teams, ensuring that IT solutions are business-driven, compliant, and add measurable value to the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Align systems development and procurement activities with the Fund's SDLC and architectural standards.
• Own and maintain the product backlog, ensuring business requirements are up-to-date and prioritized.
• Lead sprint planning, user story estimation, and coordination with delivery teams.
• Analyze business processes and propose innovative IT solutions to automate and optimize workflows.
• Ensure a strong business-first approach in all technology initiatives by thoroughly understanding and validating business requirements before development.
• Customize and enhance functional applications based on user needs and strategic objectives.
• Collaborate with system vendors and internal support teams to ensure timely and efficient solution delivery.
• Engage regularly with end users to assess satisfaction levels, identify training needs, and enhance user experience.
• Act as a liaison between business owners and IT, ensuring continuous alignment throughout solution design and implementation.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Certifications such as TOGAF, COBIT, Certified Business Analyst, and/or Scrum Master are preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years experience in business application development, systems/business analysis, and enterprise architecture.
• At least 3 years in a senior-level role such as Business Architect or Senior Business Analyst.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to translate strategic objectives into technical solutions.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven track record of stakeholder management.
• In-depth knowledge of Abu Dhabi's IT regulatory environment is an advantage.
• Proactive problem-solver with the ability to drive solutions from concept to execution under tight deadlines.
