The purpose of the role is to create exceptional architectural solution design and thought leadership, and to enable delivery teams to achieve exceptional client engagement and satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
1. Develop architectural solutions for new deals and major change requests
- Create enterprise-wide architecture ensuring systems are scalable, reliable, and manageable.
- Provide solutioning for RFPs received from clients and ensure design assurance.
- Manage the portfolio of solutions including systems, infrastructure, and applications to meet business objectives.
- Analyze technology environment, enterprise specifics, and client requirements to design collaboration solutions.
- Provide technical leadership in design, development, and implementation of solutions using modern technology.
- Assess current solutions, identify improvements, and define target architectures.
- Articulate and document architectural targets, recommendations, and reusable patterns, proposing investment roadmaps.
- Evaluate and recommend solutions for integration within the overall ecosystem.
- Collaborate with IT groups to ensure smooth transition, performance, and issue resolution.
- Document architectural designs in detail, including all artefacts.
- Validate solutions from technological, cost, and customer perspective.
- Identify problems, perform root cause analysis, and propose solutions.
- Work with sales and project teams to align solutions with architecture.
- Stay updated on industry trends and relate them to current and future IT needs.
2. Enable Delivery Teams with optimal solutions/frameworks
- Build relationships with stakeholders to act as a trusted advisor.
- Develop metrics (KPIs/SLA) to measure and drive results.
- Manage multiple projects, report status, and adhere to standards.
- Identify risks and develop mitigation plans.
- Ensure quality assurance of architecture and design decisions.
- Recommend tools for automation and reuse to improve productivity.
- Develop and maintain enterprise frameworks and artefacts.
- Build effective working relationships and ensure architecture principles are followed.
- Support pre-sales with solution presentations and negotiations, demonstrating thought leadership.
3. Competency Building and Branding
- Complete necessary training and certifications.
- Create POCs, case studies, and demos for new growth areas.
- Publish white papers and blogs to share expertise.
- Achieve market recognition through analyst rankings, testimonials, and partner credits.
- Represent Wipro in forums and industry events.
- Mentor junior staff and contribute to practice development.
4. Team Management
- Resource Planning: Anticipate and hire talent as needed.
- Talent Management: Onboard, train, and develop team members; manage attrition; promote diversity.
- Performance Management: Set goals, conduct reviews, and provide feedback.
- Employee Engagement: Lead initiatives to improve team satisfaction and engagement.
Mandatory Skills: Oracle Apps Technical.
Experience: 8-10 Years
