Role overview:
We are seeking a Solution Architect (Application Integration) with strong automotive experience to oversee application-level enterprise integration initiatives led by a third-party supplier. The focus is on designing and governing application interactions and APIs supporting automotive and manufacturing systems like SAP, MES, EWM, PLM. You will collaborate with IT, production, and external vendors to translate business needs into integrated architecture, ensuring solutions align with enterprise standards and manufacturing workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead application architecture across integration streams supporting automotive operations, including testing, traceability, and real-time data exchange.
• Translate manufacturing business requirements into high-level integration use cases and interaction patterns.
• Review solution proposals for alignment with standards, data flow, and process constraints.
• Coordinate with application owners and suppliers on issues, requirements, and milestones.
• Lead technical workshops, steering committees, and validation reviews.
• Identify and mitigate architecture-related risks and dependencies in automotive environments.
• Document interface designs, business rules, and error mechanisms specific to production systems.

Qualifications:

• 6+ years in application or integration architecture, preferably in manufacturing or automotive sectors.
• Experience with MES, EWM, PLM, and SAP interfaces.
• Understanding of enterprise integration patterns and data synchronization in production systems.
• Proficiency with collaboration tools and technical documentation.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, especially with manufacturing and operations teams.

Tech Stack:

• SAP MES, EWM, PLM (Siemens or SAP)
• IDoc, RFC, REST API, OData, JSON, XML
• Azure DevOps, Postman, Swagger/OpenAPI
• SQL, Git
